HISTORY

Midatlantic Minerals Inc. was federally incorporated in Canada October 1992 and conducts business world-wide. Midatlantic and our sister companies are privately held and controlled by senior management.

Midatlantic focuses on a small range of products thus enabling the company to be highly efficient, reliable and adaptive to its customer's needs. Midatlantic's management has over fifty years combined experience in the mineral industry, including but not limited to, mineral processing, sales, distribution, marine transportation and marine terminal operations of dry bulk materials. We produce minerals to our clients specifications through exclusive arrangements and/or direct involvement with our suppliers.. Midatlantic respects all environmental concerns and promotes fair trade.

Midatlantic's initial focus was supplying construction grade aggregate to the marketplace. Our strength was initially logistics, with a strong expertise in marine transportation. It allowed Midatlantic to virtually put a quarry in the backyard of any construction site that was near water.

In the mid 90's, Midatlantic concentrated on dolomite with a specific use in the steel and glass industry. Midatlantic worked hand in hand with a few select quarries and by utilizing our strength in logistics, we were able to penetrate markets that were predominately controlled by inland domestic quarries.

In the late 90's, we vertically integrated and built a processing plant in the Port of Quebec to beneficiate dolomite and added a new mineral to our product line; high calcium limestone. This added a new expertise to our group.

Low iron dolomite was also introduced in this same time period to the product line. Our low iron dolomite is perfect for making low iron solar glass and/or a high white filler.

In 2008 Midatlantic expanded by adding quartz to our product mix. The semi-transparent quartz was primarily for the engineered counter top industry and thereby required retooling of our plant in the Port of Quebec. This enabled us to produce very high quality quartz of any size that could be required by any marketplace, This product is marketed and sold by SANGILAK QUARTZ INC, a sister company to Midatlantic.

In 2016, after years of research, Sangilak Quartz Inc, identified an Extremely High White Opaque quartz, BRA-HW-QUARTZ. This high white quartz, under an exclusive partnership with a Brazilian quarry, is now available in any size and is perfect for the engineered countertop industry.

Midatlantic Minerals Inc. has always made sure that the needs of our clients were met. Midatlantic takes pride in being able to adapt to any situation with the expertise and dedication of loyal employees. Midatlantic will continue to offer quality products and great customer service to our present and future clients.
